Members and volunteers of all ages help “beautify” The Holt House. Here is one very hard little worker as an example.
Seems we have a celebrity on board to help…!!!!
Yup…his work is done!! Thanks Sam!!!!
Rumor has it that our fearless Director, Linda Dyer, will be incarcerated soon. A generous donation has been made to Holt House to put her in the slammer…AKA The Muscular Dystrophy 2014 Fundraising Campaign. Stay tuned for further developments!!!!
Welcome to The Holt House of Tyler, Texas. Please be sure and check out our page listings above and all the activities available at The Holt House. We would love to meet you!!
Holt House, at 709 S Bois d’Arc, “is a resource center for growing older, better”.
In a warm and friendly home-like setting, members find activities and services that keep them active as they continue to live independently in the community.
Holt House also assists members as they make plans for support services and alternative living arrangements and provides their family caregivers with information, guidance and support as they seek the best opportunities for a family member who is growing frail.
Parlor games of choice are available daily and lunch is provided.
Memberships are available. Visit http://www.holthousetyler.com or call 903-592-5553.

Can I tell you something? The Holt House is starting a Garden Friendship Swap where you can share cuttings or plants from your garden. The Holt House can always use some new plants but some of our membership would like to exchange plant for plant or seeds for seeds. We will be adding a new page to the website that will show available plant items for exchanging. Keep watching for it.
Progress is slow but it is sure! Though Holt House was founded in 1985, we won’t be left behind when it comes to social networking. After all, Holt House was social networking long before the likes of Facebook were ever conceived. Today we are happy to announce that we have linked our website to Facebook so you can “like us” and visit our Holt House Facebook page and share and post comments. Please tell your friends about us and we encourage you to share interesting topics with us on Facebook as well as here on our website.
